Counter to Samy Vellu’s the attack on Brother Vicky.

It has been a traditional practice for Samy Vellu accusing the committee members for his failure. On recent attack against brother Vicky shows the stupidity of the president. The former youth leader decided to quit the party is due to the failure of Samy Vellu to uplift the Indian community. Vicky had mentioned that Samy Vellu practice dictatorship and dictates the committee members and expected to serve the MIC president and not the society. The ratio of Indians involving in crime activities is high compare to others and there is no doubt but the reason for this is poverty. This issue has been raised to the president in many occasions and again the blame goes to the former prime minister. He claimed that Mahathir did not give Indians enough. It could be true but the question here what is the purposed? Once Abdullah Badawi came down from the power then all the blame would be point towards him. It has been culture for Mr President to blame others.

These have been practice for many years. Everyone is not perfect except him that is what looks like. He is only keen on developing his medical school. All the fund and aid given has been used without concern of the committee. Indians are affected by current economic situation especially in rural areas and nothing has been done.

Introducing privilege card or wealth card called “dhana” is another way to steal money from the community. How the wealth card could uplift the community? There is many insurance companies offering valuable health card with excellent policies and there is no way “dhana” could be comparable to these. Further discount on mobile phone offers and discounts on newspaper advertisements, motorcycles, automobile, entertainment and retail outlets as well as travel are not the need of our community now. The issue is food, work and accommodation is what is needed. Some members wanted to know the account for AIMST but it ended up with membership sacked. There is no clear account has been shown including the Maika Holding shares and no one should know anything about it. Well it is total mockery to discuss about the way MIC is today.

Mr perfect need to go and no way he will win SG SIPUT again. In fact not sure weather he can defend the presidency post. It is the time for the committee members to take a clear stand or otherwise would be perishing along with Mr President because Indians today are awakened.
